5.4 million euro residence tops Cyprus property sales

Cyprus’s property market saw robust activity in August 2024, with the top 50 transactions across the island totalling 45.6 million euros, according to data analysed by Ask Wire.

The most expensive sale was a 5.4 million euro residence in Agios Tychon in Limassol, real estate consultancy Ask Wire reported on Wednesday.

Limassol and Paphos districts dominated the top 10 sales list, each accounting for four transactions. The total value of these deals reached 10.3 million euros in Limassol and 7.5 million euros in Paphos. Nicosia and Larnaca districts completed the top 10 with transactions worth 1.7 million and 1.25 million euros respectively.

The data shows:

  • The top 10 property sales nationwide amounted to 20.9 million euros.
  • Limassol district accounted for 32.9% of the value of the 50 most expensive sales.
  • Paphos district followed with 27% of the total value.
  • Larnaca district’s top 10 sales reached 7.9 million euros, representing 17.3% of the total.
  • Nicosia district’s top 10 sales were valued at 6.6 million euros.
  • The free Famagusta district saw its 10 most expensive transactions total 3.8 million euros.

The second and third most valuable transactions were both plots of land in Pegeia, Akamas municipality, Paphos district, selling for 2.3 million and 2.15 million euros respectively.
