Ambassadors and Consuls General of Cambodia abroad have reaffirmed their commitment to further promote the country’s tourism potential to the world during their missions. This commitment was made during a meeting on March 9 between Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, and a delegation of 19 Cambodian ambassadors, Permanent Missions, and Consuls General.
In the meeting, they discussed cooperation in the tourism sector to enhance Cambodia’s reputation on the international stage and to promote Cambodian tourism globally. They further focused on attracting international tourists through public media showcasing Cambodia’s tourism potential, including cultural and historical tourism, eco-tourism, coastal tourism, traditional culture, religion, gastronomy, Cambodian smiles, and Khmer identity, which all reflect the true essence of Cambodia.
