Sun Chanthol, the Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), encouraged the Chinese side to examine the possibility of expanding the flight destinations of Air Cambodia to promote People to People (P2P) connectivity, especially Business to Business (B2B) connectivity, to attract one million tourists from Henan province to Cambodia.
The Deputy Prime Minister’s remarks were made during a working visit to the Henan Airport Investment Group and the headquarters of Air Cambodia in Zhengzhou City this morning, to study and understand the operations of the enterprises and to promote further investment in Cambodia.
Chanthol invited the Director General of Henan Airport Investment Company and his colleagues to examine the possibilities and opportunities for a working visit to Cambodia to further strengthen and expand its investment profile by seizing investment opportunities in sectors with potential and in line with the company’s expertise.

Through this meeting, the Cambodian delegation also presented the investment climate, support for the private sector by the government, and Cambodia’s tourism potential to the Chinese side.
Henan Airport Investment Company is a state-owned enterprise specialising in investment projects related to urban development, investment, technology operations, parks, and industries.
Yi Riwu, General Manager of Henan Airport Investment Group, expressed a warm welcome to the Cambodian delegation to the province.
In addition, he also explained the company’s background as well as the recent progress of its operations, which have been diversified in line with the Belt and Road Initiative and the Air Silk Road Initiative.
