US-based Montana Fly reaffirms investment expansion in Cambodia

Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice-Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), met with Adam Trina, Founder and President of Montana Fly Co., Ltd., to discuss continued collaboration and investment plans in Cambodia, according to a CDC press release issued Monday.

The meeting took place on the morning of May 5 at the CDC headquarters. The discussions focused on the company’s operations and long-term plans in the Kingdom.

Montana Fly, through its wholly owned subsidiary Fishing Fly Cambodia Co., Ltd., reaffirmed its commitment to expanding investment in Cambodia, with the support and guidance of Deputy Prime Minister.

The company aims to further develop Cambodia as a key global production base serving international markets.

Montana Fly is recognized as the world’s largest manufacturer of fishing lures, with products distributed across North America and the European Union.

The company cited several reasons for selecting Cambodia as its manufacturing hub, including the Royal Government’s investor-friendly policies that permit 100 percent foreign ownership, improved logistics infrastructure, and the availability of a young, trainable workforce proficient in English.

Montana Fly currently employs around 650 workers in Cambodia and remains committed to expanding its footprint in the Kingdom.
