Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), Sun Chanthol, welcomed a delegation from the Coca-Cola Cambodia Beverage Company, led by CEO Paulo Gaspar Rodrigues, to the CDC’s office yesterday for a courtesy call.
This meeting was organised to discuss the latest developments in the company’s investment process in Cambodia and related key points, aiming to strengthen cooperation between the state and companies further.
The CEO of Coca-Cola Cambodia Beverage Company expressed his strong commitment to finding local partners who can supply high-quality raw materials and have sufficient production capacity to meet the company’s needs.

He also expressed his strong commitment to continuing to strengthen and expand the company’s investment operations in Cambodia, to contribute to the country’s economic development.
In response, the Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the leadership of the Coca-Cola company and stated that the CDC, as the sole gateway agency of the Royal Government responsible for overseeing and managing development cooperation, private investment, and special economic zones, continues to pay close attention to ongoing private investment support in Cambodia.
Chanthol added that the Royal Government of Cambodia views foreign direct investment (FDI) as a key factor in national economic growth. Simultaneously, investors who purchase inputs or use raw materials locally will receive additional incentives, which is one of the many mechanisms the government has established to attract and promote quality, efficient, and sustainable investment.
