Cambodia, US agree on Draft Joint Statement on Framework for US-Cambodia Agreement on Reciprocal Trade

The Royal Government Spokesperson Unit says that the morning of 4 July 2025, at the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice Chairman of the CDC led the ad-hoc working group to have a virtual conference with the United States Trade Representative (USTR), led by Sarah Ellerman, Assistant USTR for Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

“In this meeting, both sides reviewed and agreed on the draft Joint Statement on Framework for United States-Cambodia Agreement on Reciprocal Trade, which will be released to the public soon,” according to a press release of the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit on Friday (Jul. 4).

“The Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia, led by Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister, will continue to cooperate closely with the United States of America to achieve a mutually beneficial trade and investment relationship.”
