At approximately 7 am on October 4, 2025, the first direct flight of Etihad Airways (EY), carrying passengers from Abu Dhabi (AUH), United Arab Emirates, successfully landed at Techo International Airport, marking the start of flight operations connecting Cambodia to the world.
The welcoming ceremony for the arrival of Etihad Airways passengers and flights was attended by the Minister of Tourism, Mr. Huot Hak, and leaders of the Secretary of State for Civil Aviation and several other relevant institutions.
Starting October 3, 2025, global airline Etihad Airways (EY) will launch a historic direct flight from Abu Dhabi (AUH) to Phnom Penh (KTI).
The flight will take just over 7 hours non-stop. Etihad Airways (Cambodia) said it will operate four flights per week.
The flight schedule from AUH to KTI is flight EY0434 every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, with departure time 20:45 to 06:55 (+1).
The flight schedule from KTI to AUH is flight EY0435 every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with departure time 07:45 to 12:45.
Etihad Airways (Cambodia) believes that the new route will increase connectivity for business and leisure travellers, opening doors to new opportunities in the Middle East and beyond.
