Cambodia Agriculture Forum and Exhibition 2025 (CAFE25) will serve as a vibrant platform to promote trade, attract investment, and drive innovation in Cambodia’s agri-food sector, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MAFF) Dith Tina said at the exhibition’s closing on Sunday evening.
Speaking while presiding over the closing of CAFE25 at the Diamond Island Convention and Exhibition Center (DICE), Tina said that CAFE25 is about seeking solutions to challenges related to agricultural products, connecting markets with real demands in terms of quantity, quality, and price, and especially engaging all relevant stakeholders—from the banking sector to agricultural technology—to build mutual trust and ensure shared benefits.
“Connecting all actors across the agricultural value chain, including farmers, processors, traders, investors, and development partners, will help seize new opportunities for trade and investment in Cambodia’s agri-food sector,” he added.
Rebekah Bell, the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) Representative of the United Nations in Cambodia, stated that the first-ever Cambodia Agriculture Forum and Exhibition (CAFE25) represents a historic turning point for the agricultural sector. This sector nourishes the nation, drives economic growth, and sustains millions of livelihoods.
She added that, working together, we can transform agrifood systems to be more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable. Transformation demands investment—not just more investment, but better investment: long-term, well-targeted, and aligned with national priorities and environmental values.
“CAFE25 reminds us that when vision meets collaboration, transformation follows. Let us continue to walk hand in hand—government, private sector, partners, and communities—toward a future that is sustainable, inclusive, and full of opportunity,” said Rebekah. “Together, we can achieve Better Production, Better Nutrition, a Better Environment, and a Better Life — for all Cambodians.”
It may be recalled that over 300 companies and exhibitors participated in the Cambodia Agriculture Forum & Exhibition 2025 (CAFE25) from November 13-16 in Phnom Penh.
The event brought together a diverse network of stakeholders from government, the private sector, and financial institutions to farmers, agribusinesses, and development partners, for a multi-day event in one of Southeast Asia’s most promising agricultural markets.
