Cambodia to launch tourism super app

Cambodia is set to launch a tourism super app aimed at boosting tourist arrivals and investors through enhanced digital services.

The initiative is the result of cooperation between the Tourism Ministry, Samadhi Property and Hospitality Co Ltd, and Atmosphere Core Pte Ltd.

This partnership is expected to contribute significantly to Cambodia’s digital transformation in tourism, enhance visitor experiences, and strengthen the country’s competitiveness in the global tourism market.

Tourism Minister Huot Hak received Meas Sophearoth, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Samadhi Property and Hospitality and Atmosphere Core, and her delegation, for a discussion on the company’s investment plans. The meeting focused on introducing a major investment project in the hotel and hospitality sector, as well as the development of a super app that offers a seamless, all-in-one digital experience to boost Cambodia’s tourism industry.

The proposed app will integrate digital tourism services and promote destinations, with the aim of  strengthening Cambodia’s position as an attractive tourism and investment hub.

At the meeting, Hak thanked the two companies for their efforts to contribute to Cambodia’s hotel, hospitality, and tourism development. He welcomed further discussions to expand investment and innovation within the sector.

Hak voiced strong support for the companies’ initiatives to broaden Cambodia’s tourism outreach and encouraged them to promote Cambodia’s tourism destinations on the international stage. He said his office is ready to collaborate with the private sector in joint promotion activities, including international tourism events and familiarisation trips.
