Eight communities across Cyprus will transform into “Christmas villages” from tomorrow, 22 November 2025, remaining open until Epiphany on 6 January 2026.
The initiative, run by the Deputy Ministry of Tourism for the fifth consecutive year, aims to establish the villages as attractions for both Cypriots and foreign visitors.
This year’s Christmas villages are:
- Agros
- Deryneia
- Kakopetria
- Kalopanagiotis
- Kyperounta
- Lefkara
- Statos-Agios Fotios
- Fikardou
According to the deputy ministry, the selected destinations will be decorated festively and will feature wooden huts selling local products and handicrafts, hands-on workshops in crafts and gastronomy, nature activities such as walking on nature trails and cycling, village tours and other surprises.https://www.youtube.com/embed/NmCGvA18CzU?si=ZHbGTlpkNY5-EWNw
