The White Horse Port has finished about 90% of its construction and is scheduled to be completed soon.
Mr. Kov Kimhak, Company Representative, stated yesterday that “we have been implementing the project to build this port for two years, in which the results have reached around 90%.”
“In that, we succeeded in pouring soil and clearing to fill the port area, constructing the concrete port by laying the foundation, laying the retaining wall and the length of the concrete, pouring the concrete on the dock and repairing the access road to the port with a length of 2,000 meters with construction and built a port office”
Mr Kov added that the port has a capacity to store cargo from 5,000 tons to 8,000 tons.
The heavy-duty port is expected to be good for revenue, which will lead to the expansion of the national and provincial economy, provide employment opportunities for citizens and a positive impact on fishermen and communities. (khmertimeskh)
