A delegation of eight German companies specialising in energy-saving solutions for buildings is visiting Cyprus from July 1 to 4, 2024.
The initiative, led by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), aims to foster collaboration with Cypriot businesses in energy efficiency upgrades.
The German companies offer solutions for various sectors, including:
- Transparent photovoltaics: Apollo Green Solution UG
- Carbon-neutral photovoltaics and solar systems: SUNSET Energietechnik GmbH
- Energy-saving and antibacterial LED lighting: Led Light Germany GmbH
- Sustainable ventilation systems: inVENTer Gmbh
- Advanced lighting systems with integrated management: Steinel GmbH
- Wall dehumidification, ventilation systems, and wall plasters: Ecodry
- Solar thermal energy systems for industrial applications: Soliterm Group GmbH and Protarget AG
The delegation will participate in B2B meetings with Cypriot companies and organizations to explore potential partnerships and joint ventures.
Additionally, a workshop titled “Renewable Energies and Energy Modernization of Commercial and Hotel Buildings in Cyprus” will be held on July 2 at the Crowne Plaza Limassol. The workshop will feature presentations by both Cypriot and German experts on the energy sector’s potential and future prospects in Cyprus.
The technological solutions are primarily aimed at medium and large-sized companies, hotels, local government authorities, project developers, food and beverage industries, and architectural firms seeking energy-saving upgrades.
