The number of passengers using Larnaca and Paphos airports in the first seven months of his year has increased by 4.42% on an annual basis, marking a record high.
In a press release, the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Works has announced a notable increase in passenger traffic at Larnaca and Paphos airports for July 2024. The total number of passengers reached 1,496,715, marking a 1.45% rise compared to the same month in 2023.
With the primary markets being the United Kingdom, Greece, Poland, Israel, and Germany, the period from January to July 2024 has recorded the highest passenger traffic on record, reflecting a 4.42% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
Aircraft traffic also saw a rise of 2.8% from 2023, totaling 10,226 flights.
