The Ministry of Tourism has announced that five major events will take place in Siem Reap this month.
First, from September 16-17, there will be the Gumball 3000, a world-famous event featuring luxury cars, celebrities, international content producers and YouTubers.
The GUMBALL 3000 Rally will be held on the 16th of September in Siem Reap – including a Guiness World Record for the most cars parked in front of Angkor Wat.
Second, September 15-19, the night lighting at Angkor Wat, the Oum River Gateway and the Bayon Temple was beautifully illuminated by night lights
The third event is on September 19, Cambodia-China Tourism Forum 2024 under the theme “Promoting the Chinese tourism market to Cambodia: challenges, visions and recommendations.”
This forum is organized to promote and strengthen Cambodia-China bilateral tourism cooperation, boosting the flow of tourism and attracting Chinese investment in Cambodia’s tourism sector in line with the Ministry of Tourism’s “Increase 5 Development 3″ strategic initiative and to contribute to the Year of Exchange campaign and” Visit Siem Reap 2024 “.
At the same time, the forum will provide an opportunity for tourism experts from the private sector, stakeholders of the two countries to meet and discuss, share new ideas, exchange good experiences and explore strategies for participating in sustainable and responsible tourism development.
Fourth, September 21-23 is the Autumnal Angkor Wat Equinox event
The fifth major event is on September 27, a day when the Siem Reap provincial administration will have a large parade in Siem Reap, a celebration of World Tourism Day 2024, with traditional art performances, discounts.
