What’s on this weekend

There is so much going on this weekend – we always say it but this weekend is particularly busy wrapping up an eventful September. Limassol in particular is bursting with events and festivals, while Nicosia, Larnaca and even Paphos have a rather rich events agenda as well. Plenty to choose from this weekend!

An array of annual festivals and happenings will fill Limassol’s centre this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Rialto Theatre will host the 3rd Cyprus Choreography Showcase presenting selected pieces by local artists and choreographers across the three days, starting Friday.

Today, the 12th edition of Sardam Interdisciplinary Festival kicks off, bringing a diverse range of literary events, performances and workshops around Limassol. Poetry workshops, installations, literature performances, songwriting seminars in English and so much more will unfold throughout the weekend.

The Warehouse by ITQuarter will host the Dream Cars Show 2024 this Saturday, a must-visit festival for car enthusiasts. This year, 100 cars or so will be displayed, ranging from different eras and coming from private collections and museums. The festival will also have a food court with street food vendors, DJ music and performances.

At Plevsis Hall in the old port, the TEDxMolos Women will highlight women’s stories with six inspirational speakers taking the stage to talk about this year’s theme Soft Power: New Era of Leadership.
