Cambodia, Germany discuss bilateral development cooperation

Cambodia and Germany have discussed and exchanged views on bilateral development cooperation, and ways to further promote it to the next level, according to the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC).

The Cambodian side was headed by Chhieng Yanara, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and Second Vice-Chairman of the CDC, while the German side was led by Barbel Kofler, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, during the former’s visit to Hamburg on Tuesday.

This meeting marked a pivotal moment in strengthening a partnership built on mutual trust and shared aspiration for a prosperous future as Yanara highlighted the strategic importance of Cambodia-Germany relations, said the CDC.

While appreciating and commending Germany’s steadfast support in advancing socio-economic development in Cambodia, Yanara outlined promising projects for the future Cambodia-Germany negotiations, paving the way for future collaboration and mutual growth, the source added. AKP
