Invest Cyprus hosted a breakfast roundtable with Indian businesses and investors, saying it reaffirms its commitment to aftercare services and positioning Cyprus as a premier investment and business hub.
The roundtable facilitated meaningful discussions with representatives from various sectors, including start-ups and established technology companies, who shared their experiences throughout the investment cycle. They provided valuable feedback, insights, and highlighted challenges that need to be addressed for further improvement.
The Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, Nicodemos Damianou, played an active role in the discussion, joined by Evgenios Evgeniou, Chairman of Invest Cyprus, and Marios Tannousis, CEO of Invest Cyprus. The High Commissioner of India to Cyprus, H.E. Shri Manish, also offered significant insights.
“As an EU member state strategically located at the crossroads of three continents, Cyprus has long been recognised as an attractive investment destination—a solid entry point to Europe and a gateway for investments beyond the EU,” Damianou noted. Evgeniou highlighted the growing economic ties between India and Cyprus, with a particular focus on the technology and services sectors.
Representing the Business Facilitation Unit at Invest Cyprus, Katerina Solomou shared valuable insights on how the organisation supports investors and businesses through comprehensive services and resources that promote a thriving environment for growth. Invest Cyprus remains committed to further strengthening this collaboration and positioning Cyprus as an ideal destination for Indian businesses to establish and expand their operations.
