Dato Khairul Hamed, CEO of Khazanah and Former Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Forces, came to explore investment cooperation opportunities in Cambodia in the health sector.
Dato Khairul Hamed made this statement during a meeting with Professor Chheang Ra, Minister of Health, on November 20, during his delegation’s visit to Cambodia.
In addition to planning to invest in the healthcare sector, the CEO of Khazanah is also looking at investment opportunities in the transportation sector, especially railways, and the banking sector.
The Minister welcomed companies interested in learning and requesting guidance on cooperation and investment in the health sector in Cambodia.
The Minister also briefed on the health priorities and policies of the Pentagonal Strategy, Phase 1 of the 7th Mandate, and highlighted the mechanisms, conditions, and necessary measures of the Ministry of Health to guide and support private investment in the health sector in Cambodia, aiming to serve the interests of the people and the success of companies.
At the same time, the company CEO expressed his gratitude to the Minister for providing guidance, pointing out, and guiding the company to gain more new initiatives.
The Minister also encouraged the company to continue discussions with expert organisations under the Ministry of Health to study in detail the company’s investment projects in Cambodia.
