Oev competition to recognise top businesses in Cyprus

The Cyprus federation of employers and industrialists (Oev) has announced the opening of applications for the 18th Cyprus Innovation Award Competition.

“This longstanding event celebrates the ingenuity and creativity that characterise Cypriot businesses and organisations across various sectors,” the federation said in a statement.

Supported by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, and the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF), the awards are aimed at recognising and promoting innovative ideas within the primary, manufacturing, and service sectors, as well as social innovation.

“The award represents the pinnacle of achievement for innovation in Cyprus, having spotlighted the success of numerous companies and organisations over the years,” Oev said.

“The upcoming competition is expected to attract entries from those looking to boost their competitiveness and visibility through novel ideas and practices,” it added.

The awards ceremony on March 26, will include President Nikos Christodoulides, who will personally congratulate the winners on their forward-thinking achievements. Interested parties can submit their applications until February 13 at www.innovationaward.oeb.org.cy
