The Paphos tourism promotion company (ETAP) has launched its road safety campaign for the fourth consecutive year.
Titled “Let’s Share Our Roads Safely,” the campaign aims to educate both cyclists and drivers on how to coexist safely on the road.
“This knowledge comes from the Highway Code and is approved by the Paphos police department,” said ETAP Chairman Kyriacos Drousiotis.
The campaign features a series of short videos, each delivering a different safety message to viewers. It will run from Thursday until May, after which a second phase will commence in September and continue until December 2025.
ETAP, along with its supporting partners, actively promotes cycling tourism as part of the city’s broader efforts to accommodate cyclists.
“Cycling is an environmentally friendly alternative to transportation,” the company said.
