Passenger traffic at Athens International Airport took off last month, registering a 10.5% increase compared to August 2023.
According to data from AIA, passenger traffic reached 3.64 million in August 2024, up 10.5% compared to August 2023 levels.
In detail, both domestic and international passenger traffic exceeded the corresponding figures for last year by 6.8% and 12.1%, respectively.Unmute

Overall, during the first eight months of the year, traffic at the airport reached 21.26 million passengers, up 13.9%. Passenger traffic, both domestic and international, showed an increase of 7.8% and 16.6%, respectively.
