Want to to enjoy Angkor Wat at its greenest (and coolest)? In November, December and January, full lakes and lush greenery provide the perfect backdrop to the temples of Cambodia’s stunning archaeological site, and temperatures have yet to rise to their annual highs. The rainy season — from June to October — provides a much quieter viewing experience, but be warned: tropical deluges can really dampen the fun. Here’s how to see Angkor Wat at its best.
