Bird Aviation officially inaugurated its second hangar at Larnaca International Airport (LCA) in a ceremony officiated by the Minister of Finance, Makis Keravnos.
Group CEO, Uri Sirkis, noted that the expansion reflects Bird Aviation’s commitment to developing a leading maintenance hub in the Eastern Mediterranean and its confidence in Cyprus’s potential as a growing centre for aviation maintenance.
Bird Aviation’s CEO, Frederic Pralus, said that the inauguration of the second hangar represents an important stage in the company’s growth strategy, allowing the company to further strengthen its technical capabilities and continue delivering reliable, high-quality services to its clients.
To meet increasing market demand, the company has already begun construction on a third hangar, and plans for three additional bays are scheduled for completion by 2026.
