Cambodia earns nearly $36M from Angkor, Koh Ker, and Chong Khneas ticket sales in first 10 months of 2024

Cambodia generated nearly $36 million from ticket sales to the Angkor Archaeological Park, Koh Ker, and Chong Khneas Tourism Port in the first ten months of 2024, according to a press release issued by Angkor Enterprise on November 1, 2024.

During this period, 774,203 foreign tourists purchased tickets to visit the Angkor Archaeological Park and Koh Ker temple, representing a 28.48% increase compared to the same period in 2023. This influx of visitors resulted in a revenue boost of $35,987,961, reflecting a 29.07% increase from the previous year.

The Royal Government donated $1,548,406 to Kantha Bopha Hospital to help save the lives of Cambodian children.

In 2023, over 790,000 foreign tourists bought tickets to visit Angkor Archaeological Park, earning $37,198,988, an increase of 222.68%. Fresh News
