Heng Sour, Minister of Labour and Vocational Training, on March 28, met with Shoji Sakaki, President of the Cambodia-Japan Friendship Promotion Coalition of the Nagano Prefecture of Japan. The discussion focused on finding opportunities to expand the labour market and strengthen the skills of Cambodians.
The Minister emphasized that due to the political relations between Cambodia and Japan have reached a strategic level from all angles, it has opened up opportunities for various cooperation as well as opportunities for expanding the labour market between Cambodia and Japan.
At the same time, Shoji Sakaki said that Japan is now opening up more and more in the field of labour cooperation, which has allowed the country’s citizens in the cooperation to receive professional training on modern Japanese techniques.
At this point, the minister also agreed that strengthening the technical skills of the people is a key factor in the cooperation that Cambodia wants. In addition, the Minister expressed his sympathy and gratitude to the Japanese side, which intends to train modern technical skills in Cambodia to strengthen productivity.
The Japanese side also highlighted and thanked the Cambodian government as well as the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training for their trust and continued cooperation with Japanese companies.
Regarding the search for opportunities to expand the labour market and strengthen the professional capacity between Cambodia and Japan, the Minister affirmed that the Cambodian side is ready to support the cooperation to run smoothly and achieve fruitful results. Dap-news
