The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Defence, Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade of Luxembourg (MAE) held discussions on the Kingdom’s investment and business climate to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister and First Vice-Chairman of CDC, granted the courtesy visit to the Luxembourger delegation led by Georges Ternes, Director General of the Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid at MAE, held in Phnom Penh on February 28.
According to CDC announcement, the meeting focused on exchanging views and discussing Cambodia’s current investment and business climate, intending to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
On the same day, Ternes led the MAE delegation in a separate meeting with Chhieng Yanara, Senior Minister in charge of Special Missions and Second Vice-Chairman of the CDC.
During the meeting, the Senior Minister and Ternes reaffirmed their strong commitment to strengthening ties and expressed hope for the continued expansion of Cambodia-Luxembourg cooperation.
Based on the CDC announcement, the primary objective of the meeting was to enhance future bilateral development cooperation and partnerships between the two nations.
