Prime Minister Hun Manet stated that Cambodia has continued to build and maintain the confidence of both domestic and international investors due to the country’s favourable conditions and vast potential.
He made these remarks at the celebration of the Official Establishment of the Cambodia Confederation of Investors Association (CCIA) and the 2025 Gala Dinner, organised at the Koh Pich Convention and Exhibition Centre in Phnom Penh on Friday evening.
“Cambodia has earned the trust of investors and the public, both locally and internationally, because Cambodia is rich in favourable factors with much potential, the main factors that cannot be missed, such as peace and stability throughout the country,” said Mr Hun Manet.
The Prime Minister emphasized the Royal Government’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding peace and ensuring complete national stability, which he described as fundamental to sustainable development, investment growth, and improved livelihoods.
He noted that the government remains focused on developing infrastructure and enhancing the skills of Cambodia’s young workforce to meet the demands of modern production and industry.
In addition, Mr Hun Manet highlighted Cambodia’s participation in various regional and bilateral trade agreements, which have helped open broader markets that create new economic opportunities.
He further said that the Royal Government has also been actively working to promote both domestic and international investment by implementing flexible policies, offering incentives, and ensuring strong protections for investors’ interests.
On the occasion, Prime Minister encouraged both national and international investors, particularly new foreign guests, to consider Cambodia as a destination for cooperation and investment.
“The government welcomes all investors without discrimination and values the growth of factories and enterprises operating in Cambodia. Your presence plays a key role in driving the country’s continued economic growth and achieving long-term, sustainable development goals.”
