Cambodia’s First Lady Thanks Philanthropists for Donating to Kantha Bopha Foundation

Cambodia’s First Lady, Pech Chanmony, thanked all the philanthropists who donated money to the Kantha Bopha Foundation to save the lives of Cambodian infants and children.

At a meeting with the management, doctors, and medical staff at Kantha Bopha Hospital yesterday, Pech Chanmony, Honorary President of the Kantha Bopha Foundation in Cambodia, expressed her deep gratitude to all the philanthropists who donated money to the Kantha Bopha Foundation, which is an initiative to bring smiles to infants and children, Cambodia’s brightest resources.

She said that if only teachers, doctors, and health workers were willing and skilled to treat, but without the participation of all the philanthropists, the lives of Cambodian infants and children would not be saved because treatment requires expensive medicines and medical equipment.

She said: “The philanthropists, doctors, nurses, and the management of Kantha Bopha Hospital must work together. That is why the Kantha Bopha Cambodia Foundation was established. The hospitals in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap have been saving the lives of Cambodian infants and children for many years.”

At the same time, she also praised and thanked the doctors, nurses, and management of Kantha Bopha Hospital, who have worked day and night tirelessly to fulfil their valuable mission for more than 42 years.
