CPIT Shanghai pledges to promote Cambodian tourism, investment in Shanghai

The Director General of the Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shanghai (CPIT Shanghai) Zhou Minhao, confirmed to Sun Chanthol, the First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), aiming to explore the possibility of participating in the promotion of tourism, as well as trade and private investment between Shanghai and Cambodia.

The remarks by Zhou were made during a courtesy call with Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the CPIT Shanghai delegation also mentioned helping to promote the new digital technology of the CDC in the management of investment projects and expressed willingness to co-organise seminars, business forums, or private sector matching in Shanghai to support mutual investment.

Taking this opportunity, Chanthol highlighted the priority areas of the government in attracting investment in electronic components, automotive, agriculture, and the agro-industry sectors.

He expressed his desire to facilitate investors who wish to understand the investment potential of Cambodia before making an investment decision.
