CUT receives approval for €27 million Limassol campus expansion

The Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) has secured preliminary approval from the Ministry of Finance for its development plan to construct new facilities for the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts and the School of Geotechnical Sciences and Environmental Management.

The modern facilities, estimated to cost approximately €27 million, will be built on university-owned land adjacent to Limassol’s Third Primary School as part of CUT’s secondary campus development initiative.

Construction planning has already advanced through initial stages, with an architectural competition for the Multimedia and Graphic Arts Department buildings having been completed, according to university sources familiar with the project timeline.

The project forms part of CUT’s infrastructure strategy aimed at meeting increasing space requirements, creating contemporary teaching and research environments, and gradually reducing dependence on leased properties.
