Cyprus’ two major airports, Larnaca and Paphos, recorded an increase in passenger traffic in September.
Specifically, 1.4 million passengers passed through the airports last month, representing a 7% increase compared to the same period in 2023. This marks the highest number of passengers for September in the airports’ history.
The United Kingdom, Greece, Israel, Poland, and Germany were the top markets for both airports.
For the first nine months of the year, passenger traffic reached 9.5 million, a 5% increase over the previous year.
