Elena Kulichenko, the flag bearer for the Cypriot delegation, has successfully qualified for the High Jump final at the Paris Olympic Games.
The athlete secured her place in the final with a seventh-place finish in the qualification round.
Kulichenko cleared a height of 1.92m to advance to the final. Despite three unsuccessful attempts at 1.95m, her performance was sufficient to progress.
The women’s High Jump final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, where Kulichenko will compete against the world’s best for a chance at Olympic glory.
