The Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) has launched two new funding calls, Seed and Innovate, targeted at boosting the growth of startups and supporting existing firms in scaling their products and services for global markets.
The combined budget for the two calls stands at €6.2 million.
The Innovate programme, with a total allocation of €3.2m, is designed for businesses already operating in the market.
It offers up to €1m per project to support product development, optimisation, commercial production, and international expansion.
Proposals must be submitted by September 9, 2025.
Meanwhile, the Seed programme is geared toward dynamic startups aiming to develop competitive products or services with international potential.
With a total budget of €3m, the scheme offers up to €500,000 per project. The submission deadline is September 12, 2025.
Both programmes are co-financed by the Republic of Cyprus and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the EU Thalia 2021-2027 plan.
