Freedom Holding Corp. to join Russell 3000 Index

Freedom Holding Corp., the parent company of Freedom24, has been selected for inclusion in the internationally recognised Russell 3000® Index as part of its 2025 annual reconstitution.

The inclusion will become effective after the close of the US stock market on June 27, 2025.

The Russell 3000® Index tracks the performance of the 3,019 largest publicly listed companies in the United States.

These firms represent approximately 98 per cent of the investable US equity market.

Inclusion in the index is widely regarded as an indicator of a company’s financial health, stability, and growth.

It also boosts visibility among investors, potentially driving increased investment activity.

The Russell 3000® is considered a key benchmark by global investment funds.

These include the iShares Russell 3000 ETF (IWV) and the Vanguard Russell 3000 ETF (VTHR), which together manage more than 18 billion US dollars.

Typically, companies added to the Russell 3000® are also included in either the Russell 1000® Index, for large-cap companies, or the Russell 2000® Index, for small-cap companies.

They may also be included in relevant value and growth indices.

It has not yet been confirmed which category Freedom Holding Corp. will fall under.

This information will be disclosed following the publication of the index’s scheduled updates.

These updates occur several times a year and are due to be released on May 30, June 6, June 13, and June 20.

Timur Turlov, CEO of Freedom Holding Corp., stated that “being included in the renowned Russell 3000® Index is a significant milestone in our journey and reflects the steady growth and ongoing strengthening of our position in global markets.”

“This recognition proves the hard work and dedication of our entire team, as well as our strategic commitment to creating value for our shareholders,” he said.

He added that “we are confident this development will enhance our visibility among institutional investors, broaden our shareholder base, and further solidify our position as a key player in the financial sector.”

The updated list of companies included in the Russell 3000® following the May 23, 2025 reconstitution has been published on the official FTSE Russell website.
