Green light for €22 million high-rise project in Limassol

The environment department has given the green light to a €22 million high-rise building set to be constructed along the Limassol coastline.

The proposed building, to be developed by by P.G. Economides Properties Ltd, will stand at a height of 87 metres and will comprise a mixed-use office and commercial space.

According to the architectural plans, the development will feature a ground floor, a mezzanine, a rooftop garden, two basement levels, and 18 storeys.

The total coverage area is expected to be 1,250 square metres, while the total built-up area will amount to 8,271.78 square metres.

The project includes 146 parking spaces, with seven designated for persons with disabilities. These will be distributed across the two basement levels, the ground floor, and the first level.

Additionally, there will be 20 bicycle parking spaces and 15 for motorcycles.

The completion timeline for the project is estimated at 28 months following the acquisition of all necessary permits.

The building is situated in an area with a number of residential and mixed-use developments, including office, commercial, and dining spaces.

To the east, the site is adjacent to a mixed-use development with residential and office spaces, while to the west, it borders other mixed-use buildings comprising residential and commercial units.

Notably, the Vathias river flows less than 77 metres east of the proposed project.

The broader area, particularly along the coastal avenue, is predominantly occupied by tourism-related establishments and dining venues.

To the north, residential developments dominate, interspersed with some mixed-use commercial buildings.

Additionally, the Griva Digeni Avenue is located 68 metres west of the development site, while the Oval building is positioned 120 metres further west.
