Hun Many: Upcoming blessing ceremony for Cambodia to become a historic event

Deputy Prime Minister Hun Many has announced that the upcoming blessing ceremony for the prosperity and well-being of the Kingdom of Cambodia, scheduled for April, will be a historic event for the nation.

Many, who also serves as the Minister of Civil Service and President of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC), shared this statement on his official Facebook page on March 7.

He revealed that the Royal Government will organise a grand royal blessing ceremony under the supreme patronage of King Norodom Sihamoni.

The ceremony will take place in front of Angkor Wat Temple in Siem Reap province, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasised.

“This event will mark a historic milestone, as it will be graced by the highest royal honour, with His Majesty the King presiding over the ceremony in person,” added Many.

He further called on all citizens across the nation to participate wholeheartedly in the ceremony by offering prayers and blessings to the sacred and powerful spirits of the universe, as well as to the deities who protect the Kingdom of Cambodia.

He expressed his wishes for the continued prosperity and protection of the Kingdom under the reign of His Majesty the King, and for the well-being and success of all people across the nation. This ceremony is expected to be a momentous occasion, reflecting the unity and spiritual devotion of the Cambodian people.
