According to the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Works, the passenger traffic at Larnaca and Paphos airports experienced a year-on-year increase of 1.45% in July 2024, totalling 1,496,715 travellers. The primary markets contributing to this growth were the United Kingdom, Greece, Poland, Israel, and Germany.
The Ministry also reported that the period between January and July saw the highest number of passenger movements, reflecting a 4.42% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
Additionally, aircraft movements rose by 2.8% year-on-year, reaching a total of 10,226 flights during July.
