Prime Minister Hun Manet and also the President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), chaired the first meeting at the Peace Palace of the CDC of the 7th mandate this morning.
The Council for the Development of Cambodia was established on August 5, 1994, with the mission of attracting investment to Cambodia.
As a result, the statistics of investment projects approved by the CDC indicated that last year there were 268 investment projects approved, whereas, this year investments increased to 414 projects with 146 projects approved, an increase of 54%.
The investment capital in 2023 was $4.0 million, which increased to $6.9 million, an increase of 40%.
