After sold-out shows in Nicosia in November 2023, the UK’s multi-award-winning comedian Jimmy Carr returns to Cyprus for more laughs. A show that will be on for one night only will kick off 2025’s cultural agenda in January as Carr presents his brand-new show.
Jimmy Carr – Laughs Funny is the name of the show that will entertain Cyprus audiences on January 9, at the Eleftheria Sports Arena in Nicosia, performed of course in English. “If you like fast-paced, edgy one-liners then get ready to be happy,” say organisers. “Jimmy Carr is going back on tour with his brand-new show!”
“Jimmy tells jokes, and jokes are like magnets,” they add. “Jokes attract people, but they can also repel. Some people are repelled by Jimmy’s dark brand of comedy. This show is not for them. But if it’s the kind of thing you like, then this is the kind of thing you’ll like.”
The show will last around one hour and tickets are already on sale on www.more.com with prices starting at €35. As it is expected to be another sold-out performance, it is advised to grab tickets soon as the English-speaking comedy lovers of the island rush to catch the comedian live.
