The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Keve) on Monday announced that it will host a Ugandan delegation, in the context of Agritrade Uganda’s visit to Cyprus, for a series of business-to-business meetings.
Agritrade Uganda’s mission is to promote the country’s agricultural products on the international market, as well as to attract interest from foreign investors in the Ugandan agricultural sector.
According to the chamber, this initiative aims to strengthen trade and investment ties between the two countries.
The event, organised by Keve itself, will take place on November 19, 2024, from 10:00 to 12:30 on the second floor of the chamber’s headquarters in Nicosia.
Moreover, the chamber said that the Ugandan companies involved will represent a variety of sectors.
These sectors include agricultural equipment, agricultural by-products, construction equipment, coffee, pharmaceutical supplies, as well as textiles and apparel.
“The meetings aim to inform Cypriot companies and potential investors about investment opportunities in these sectors, fostering bilateral cooperation and strengthening economic links between Cyprus and Uganda,” the chamber said.
Companies wishing to participate must register by Thursday, November 14 2024, by noon. Participation is free of charge.
