The Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training has introduced the Foreign Workers Centralized Management System (FWCMS) to provide an online service allowing foreigners to work in Cambodia.
The information was shared by Mr. Kata On, Secretary of State and spokesman for the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training on March 3, 2024.
Mr. Kata stated that using the online foreign labor data management system at https://www.fwcms.mlvt.gov.kh/, employers or foreigners can apply for the following services:
First: Permits to use foreign labor (for employers)
Second: Registration of foreign labor contracts (For employers)
Third: Work permit and work book for foreigners (for foreigners).
These forms and procedures are posted on the Ministry of Labor’s own website for the convenience of employers and foreigners at all times online, including in English.
He said that the online foreigner management system was established in order to facilitate foreigners with all services related to cards and work books and services of the OWSO of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training.
In addition, Mr. Kata Un emphasized that the implementation of the online system for managing foreign workers is a modernization of the digital services of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training in line with the strategic plan of the Ministry of Labor and Vocational Training on the development of employment, social security and vocational training 2024-2028, as well as in line with the strategy of the Royal Government of Cambodia. khmertimeskh
