The Ministry of Commerce (MoC) recently convened an internal meeting to evaluate the draft of Cambodia’s Digital Trade Policy for the period 2025-2030. This initiative aims to promote digital inclusivity and enhance the nation’s integration into the global market.
The meeting, held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, was presided over by Reach Ra, Secretary of State of the MoC. It was attended by Undersecretaries of State, representatives from the General Department of , members of various line departments, and representatives from the Profitence consulting firm.
The primary objective of this initial gathering was to assess the structure and format of the draft policy, as well as to collect further insights from pertinent departments. This collaborative effort is designed to establish a comprehensive and effective Digital Trade Policy that will advance digital inclusivity and bolster Cambodia’s position within the global economy.
