Paphos tourism board wraps up domestic campaign

The Paphos Regional Tourism Board (Etap) this week announced the conclusion of its latest campaign aimed at attracting domestic tourists.

The board said that this initiative, which has received support from the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, encompassed the entire Paphos district.

In addition, it featured an organised and intensive social media campaign, particularly on Facebook and Instagram.

The campaign, which began in May, reached its peak during June and July and will conclude on August 14, 2024.

According to the announcement from Etap, “Paphos is eager to maintain its position as a top holiday destination for residents of Cyprus, thanks to the combined efforts of tourism professionals and the Deputy Ministry of Tourism”.

The campaign’s message invites “Cypriots to visit the cosmopolitan city of Paphos, explore its beautiful countryside, discover the Akamas Peninsula and the Laona villages, and enjoy the stunning coastline from Pegeia to Neo Chorio, Latsi, Argaka, and Pomos”.

“We encourage everyone to experience magical moments in Paphos, explore its unparalleled natural beauty, swim in its crystal-clear seas, and enjoy the hospitality of every corner of the Paphos region,” the statement added.

Etap also said that in early September, a new campaign featuring different promotional material will be launched across Cyprus.

This upcoming campaign will focus on promoting short weekend getaways, gastronomic delights, events, workshops, and more.
