Paphos tourism boom set to extend into early autumn, tour operators confirm

Bookings and programs from major European tour operators have officially confirmed what was anticipated as early as July: Paphos is set to maintain its strong visitor numbers into the first two months of autumn. High occupancy rates at tourist facilities, confirmed bookings for September and October, and positive signals from UK-based travel agents all point to an autumn season that will extend the success of this summer, according to local tourism industry representatives.

Optimism for Paphos has been further boosted by a significant increase in domestic tourism. The city’s growing appeal as a destination for local travelers has resulted in more visitors to the region, driving business revenues and raising expectations for the area to become a year-round tourist destination.

Business owners in the coastal areas also expect that activity in September and October will remain high, not just in hotels and tourist accommodations, but also at leisure and entertainment venues.
