Phnom Penh, the vibrant capital of Cambodia, has been ranked second among the 14 Best Nightlife Cities in the World by VISA2FLY, an online visa platform.
“Cambodia’s nightlife is simply a perfect mesh of cultural warmth and modernity, offering something to everyone,” the source noted. “From hidden speakeasies to vibrant riverside lounges, the city [Phnom Penh] offers an affordable and dynamic nightlife scene perfect for budget travelers and partygoers alike.”
Nightlife in clubs in Phnom Penh stands out as particularly lively, compared to the rest of the globe, while riverside bars in Siem Reap are serene, it added.
“Following the pilot operation of the Chaktomuk Walk Street, Phnom Penh has surpassed major global cities to become the second most attractive nightlife destination in the world,” stated the Ministry of Tourism.
Bangkok, Thailand claimed the top spot, while Bali (Indonesia), Dubai (UAE), and Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) rounded out the top five.
Other cities featured on the list include Istanbul (Türkiye), Las Vegas (USA), Berlin (Germany), Ibiza (Spain), Miami (USA), Tokyo (Japan), Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), London (UK), and New York City (USA). AKP
