The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Dr. Hun Manet, stated that in the past six months, Cambodia exported $11.8 billion, an increase of more than $1.6 billion, equivalent to 16.57 percent, indicating that the Cambodian economy is growing.
This statement was made on the occasion that the premier presided over a plenary meeting of the Council of Ministers at the Peace Palace this morning, March 15, 2024.
“In the last six months, we exported $11.8 billion from September 2023 to February 2024,” said Hun Manet.
The premier stated that the trade volume compared to the same period in 2023 from September 2022 to February 2023, Cambodia exported $10 billion compared to the same period in 2024, Cambodia increased by more than $1.6 billion, equivalent to 16.57 percent.
At the same time, Dr. Hun Manet said that the growth of Cambodia’s exports shows that the valve of the Cambodian economy has increased.
Cambodia’s main exports are garments, grain, machinery and electrical appliances, vegetables, footwear, rubber, fruits, and furniture. Cambodia’s main trading partners include China, Vietnam, the US, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and other countries. Fresh News
