Preparations for Productive Automotive and Electronic Sector Development Council Meeting

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) and two leading firms, RMA (Cambodia) and Minebea (Cambodia), have discussed preparations for a productive 3rd meeting of the Automotive and Electronic Sector Development Council in April.

The discussion on Mar. 10 was chaired by H.E. Nut Unvoanra, Deputy Secretary General of the CDC’s Cambodian Investment Board (CIB) and Chairman of Cambodia’s Industrial Development Policy (IDP) Secretariat.

Senior representatives from the two firms were Mr. Ngorn Saing, CEO of RMA (Cambodia), and Mr. Yasuyuki SUGAWARA, Accounting Manager of Minebea (Cambodia) and Co-Chair of the Electronic Sector Representative of the Advisory Council.

The discussion agreed that the two firms will coordinate with other companies working in the industry to gather challenges and suggestions to feed the agenda for the 3rd meeting of the Automotive and Electronic Sector Development Council.

The Automotive and Electronic Sector Development Council is a public-private sector partnership mechanism that helps guide the development strategies and action plans to promote the industry in Cambodia.
