His Excellency Nikos Christodoulides, President of Republic of Cyprus: Responsible fiscal policy, continuous and bold reforms, and a strong financial system among other factors leading to ongoing upgrades of the Cypriot economy allow us to aim for significant foreign investments that also strengthen our efforts to create quality jobs.
I was particularly pleased to have the opportunity to inform American entrepreneurs about the investment prospects in our country in the sectors of energy, shipping, tourism, infrastructure, and services.
I also take great pride in hearing from members of the business community highlighting the improved international image of our country, particularly in the USA, through the initiatives undertaken by the Republic of Cyprus in the region, as well as the substantial strengthening of relations between Nicosia and Washington at all levels. The effort to further enhance our country continues and intensifies.
