The House Price Index (HPI) reached 112.86 points in the second quarter of 2024, marking a 2.5% increase compared to the same period last year, according to preliminary estimates from the Statistical Service.
The index rose by 1.2% compared to the first quarter of 2024.
The HPI measures changes in the average price of residential properties, encompassing all types of housing units, both new and existing. Land value is included in the price calculation.
