A delegation from two Qatar-based companies, Al Mansour Holding (AMH) and LCH Investment Group Co., Ltd., is currently exploring investment opportunities in Cambodia’s agricultural and tourism sectors.
The delegation, led by Fahd Al Dosari, Special Advisor and Head of Public Relations at AMH, paid a courtesy call on Hun Sen, President of the Senate, on Tuesday.
According to Chea Thyrith, Senate Spokesperson, Fahd Al Dosari informed Hun Sen that the purpose of their visit is to gain a deeper understanding of Cambodia’s investment landscape, particularly in agriculture, tourism, and hospitality.
He highlighted that Cambodia’s safety, stability, and peaceful environment are key factors making the country an attractive destination for foreign investors.
In response, Hun Sen warmly welcomed the Qatari delegation and encouraged investment in Cambodia’s high-potential sectors, especially agriculture, industry, and tourism. He noted that Cambodia is particularly interested in attracting investment in agricultural processing aimed at exporting to global markets. AKP
